ATEX inspections of installations, equipment and documentation

An Ex installation is reliable only when equipment is correctly selected, installed, maintained and demonstrably inspected.

Exquintia performs targeted ATEX inspections of installations, equipment and documentation, combining field findings with dossier review.

What you buy

A concrete ATEX assessment with usable next steps.

Exquintia does not deliver a generic safety note, but a technical assessment aligned with your installation, process and documentation. You receive clarity on risk, standards basis, missing information and priorities for execution.

  • Scope aligned with EPD, zoning, inspections, audit preparation or risk analysis.
  • Review of documentation, installation, equipment and organisational controls as one system.
  • Clear findings with priority, practical actions and substantiation for HSE, engineering and management.
01

Targeted installation assessment

An Ex marking on a motor, sensor, gland or cabinet is not sufficient proof that the installation as a whole is safe.

Exquintia assesses the installation in relation to zoning, explosion protection documentation, protection concepts and actual operating conditions.

02

What Exquintia inspects

The inspection may cover electrical and non-electrical installation parts depending on the agreed scope.

  • Ex marking, EPL, category, gas group, dust group and temperature class
  • suitability of equipment for the zone
  • cable glands, blanking plugs, seals and entries
  • enclosures, covers, gaskets, threads and mechanical condition
  • bonding, earthing and electrostatic control
  • IP protection, dust ingress and contamination
  • temperature load, dust layers and hot surfaces
  • intrinsically safe circuits and loop documentation
  • documentation, certificates, drawings and inspection records
03

Result

After completion, you receive a clear inspection report with concrete findings, priorities and practical next steps.

You know which installation parts comply, where deviations exist and which documentation or measures are needed.
